Mods are allowed unless they fundamentally change the gameplay. However, there are a few rules that will help keep it fresh. I play the different lots rotationally (so they still age and die) but you don't have to - PlantSim lifecycles are little studied, you could just play the newest generation and keep the older ones around for eternity. (If twins, each can form its own genetic line.) Upon adulthood, each generation moves out to build their own house and hence the colony grows. The premise remains the same for each generation - achieve the LTW, and once this is done grow one (maximum two, if twins) PlantBaby to become the next generation. Move the Generation One PlantSim into an empty lot (if you chose to bring the Generation Zero PlantSim, move them into the same lot) - it doesn't matter what size, you'll start with a new lot each generation so we're not building Legacy Mansions here. The challenge proper: Generation One and beyond No further interaction with them is allowed. Any human Sims - spouse, human children - stay behind. If you wish, the Generation Zero PlantSim can come along to the colony to live the rest of their life, but can accrue no points. Just one (or maximum two, if it happens to be twins.) Once the toddler PlantSimīecomes and adult, it's time for them to move out and start the colony. Once the LTW has been achieved, they can grow one PlantBaby. Move him/her into an empty lot (any size.) Make sure you include a bit of a garden, because this generation only has two goals: achieve their LTW and become a PlantSim. Male, female, whatever looks and personality, aspiration of your choosing. So I devised this challenge to keep it interesting and see my town grow quickly. I like watching my neighbourhood grow and following family trees, but I get bored when they have all the money and I do the same thing each generation - get married, have kids, top career.
